Quality and other technical information related to this item:

1993
Behavioral coding indicated minimal respondent/interviewer interaction in the first three categories, but more interaction for the "other" category. About 14 percent of the NSRCG and SDR respondents and 20 percent of the NSCG mail respondents entered an "other" response. Approximately 38 percent of the "other" responses were back-coded on the SDR. Item nonresponse on the edited SDR and NSRCG data was less than 1 percent.
