Quality and other technical information related to this item:

1993
The reinterview data had excellent reliability; only 3.7 percent changed answers (inconsistency index = 7.6). Item nonresponse was not a problem (less than one percent in all instances). Some respondents who were not working during the reference week said "same occupation" if the occupation of the last job held was the same as the occupation of the 1988 job.
