For the 1995 and 1997 NSRCG surveys, the wording of the question included course enrollment and non-course enrollment: "More specifically, during the week of April 15, 1995 (1997), were you taking college or university courses or enrolled for other reasons such as completing a master's, PhD, medical, or law degree?"


1997

For the 1997 NSCG follow-up panels, the question also included non-course enrollment, but was worded slightly differently: "During the week of April 15, 1997, were you taking college or university courses or enrolled for other reasons such as completing a master's, PhD., or a medical or law degree?"


General
This question is similar to a question asked in the 1993 NSRCG survey (see N_ED_REF_WK_ENROLL_IND), but with slightly different wording. For the 1993 NSRCG survey, the question specifically addressed only enrollment in college or university courses, while in the 1995 and 1997 NSRCG surveys and the 1997 NSCG follow-up panels, the question was expanded to include non-course enrollment.
